Welcome Letter: Setting up your Rice Accounts (Fall 2025)
New undergraduates receive this email after completing the acceptance process and paying their deposit, usually in late April or early May.
New Student Checklist: NetID & Email Setup
Follow the Office of Student Success Initiatives checklist for NetID setup, Duo enrollment, and connecting to Rice systems.
Rice – Esther Login
Log into Esther and click on the “Welcome to Rice” tab to complete online enrollment forms using your NetID and password.
Campus Resources
Computer Labs & Printers
Each residential college includes a computer lab and printer. Additional labs are available across campus. Standard programs are pre-installed on lab computers.
Rice Email
Official communications will be sent to your Rice email address. Access via Rice Google Mail.
